The Administrative Assistant provides varied administrative assistance to the Police Department, to include confidential and special assignments. In addition to performing clerical tasks, the Administrative Assistant for Public Safety serves as record-keeper for the Public Safety and Transportation Committee, attending after-hours scheduled meetings, posting minutes and agendas, and preparing meeting minutes for approval. The Administrative Assistant for Public Safety serves as the Records Custodian for the Department. The Administrative Assistant for Public Safety also serves as the Transportation Inspector in accordance with Bethel Municipal Code 5.20.010 (Q).
